¡Feliz lectura, canallas!

One of the most relevant developments of late 2010 / early 2011 was without a doubt the release of the book about Mooneyesby Laurent Bagnard. You can see Laurent in the photo above with Joanna de Brito, who is responsible for Custom Garage’s international section and yours truly. We spent a good while chatting with Laurent, whose book is filled with period photographs, and explores the origins and the evolution of hot rodding, which has developed at a parallel to the two-eyes brand. A beautiful and authentic history of a symbolic company, Mooneyes, whose flame still burns brightly. Whoever picks up a copy of this book will feel this flame, burning yellow... guaranteed. I wanted to fill this issue with really vibrant material, with loads of events from around the world, and the most authentic custom cars, hot rods and custom bikes on the planet. Our style and way of life is gaining strength on all four corners of the globe, as we saw in the Motor Bike Expo in Italy, where the metal flake shone in all its glory, the Hot Rod Hayride with its incredible races on British soil, or the legendary Ink ‘n’ Iron… I hope you enjoy it! On another note, I’d like to assure you that future editions of Custom Garage will be published on time - you’ll be able to buy it in your usual dealer around the world or via our website www.customgarage.es.
Happy reading Canallas!
